The Growth Xpress

Privacy Policy

Last updated

This explains what The Growth Xpress collects through this website, why, how long we keep it and how to have it removed. It is deliberately specific — a policy that describes every conceivable practice tells you nothing about ours.

Who we are

The Growth Xpress is a growth marketing and technology partner. We are the controller for the personal data described on this page.

For any question or request about your data, email info@thegrowthxpress.com. That address reaches a person, and we answer data requests within one working day.

What we collect, and when

We collect only what you give us, plus the technical data any website receives in order to serve a page.

  • Contact and audit forms: your first and last name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — phone number, company, website and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Booking: when you book a call, Google collects your name, email and chosen time through the Google Calendar booking page. That happens on Google's systems under their privacy policy, and we receive the booking.
  • Technical data: your browser sends an IP address and user-agent string with every request, as it does to every website. These appear in server logs.
  • Analytics: if and when analytics is enabled on this site, it records pages viewed and interactions such as clicking a call button or submitting a form.

What we do not collect

  • We do not buy personal data, and we do not enrich what you give us from third-party data brokers.
  • We do not ask for, or want, special-category data — health, biometric, political or similar. Please do not send it through the forms on this site.
  • We do not take payment through this website, so no card or bank details pass through it.

Why we use it

Form and booking data is used to answer you and to prepare for the conversation you asked for. That is the only purpose. Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry.

Technical data is used to operate and secure the site. Analytics, where enabled, is used to understand which pages are useful.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

  • Google, for scheduling, when you book a call through the Google Calendar booking page.
  • The service we use to route form submissions to our team — an email delivery provider, and where we use one, a workflow-automation tool or our CRM. It receives what you typed into the form so that a person can reply to you, and it is not permitted to use your data for anything else.
  • Our hosting provider, which processes requests in order to serve this site.
  • Analytics and tag-management providers, where those are enabled.
  • Anyone we are legally required to disclose to — and we would tell you unless prohibited from doing so.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to twenty-four months afterwards so that we have context if you come back to us. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Server logs are short-lived and retained only for operational and security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your data. We honor these requests regardless of whether we are strictly obliged to.

  • Ask what we hold about you, and receive a copy.
  • Have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Object to, or restrict, how we use it.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affected your data we would tell you, and we would tell you what we knew rather than waiting until we knew everything.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen.

Changes

When this policy changes materially we update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.

This page describes our current practice in plain terms. It is not legal advice, and it does not yet reflect review against every jurisdiction we operate in. If you need a specific contractual or regulatory commitment, ask us and we will put it in writing.
